Providence Investigations Ltd. is a wholly Canadian-owned and operated company, with agents located throughout the province of Ontario, in addition to a network of associates spread throughout Canada and the U.S. Our mandate is to provide our clients with top quality service and to operate with the utmost in integrity.

We have been serving the Canadian insurance, corporate, financial and legal communities since 1987, and have developed special expertise in assisting our insurance industry clients in making informed claims decisions, reducing their exposure to loss, and solving claims problems.

We are fully bonded, insured, and licenced, and belong to the Council of Private Investigators - Ontario. We are among the limited number of agencies who qualify for the designation of "Investigative Body" under the new Federal Privacy Act. This permits us to legally collect, use and disseminate personal information on individuals.

We maintain close working relationships with several police agencies as well as other government enforcement and anti-fraud agencies. Providence has also proudly assisted the R.C.M.P. in federal fraud prosecutions.

David A. Gibb, Founder & President - Providence Investigations, Ltd.
David A. Gibb founded Providence Investigations Ltd. in 1987. With more than 25 years of investigative experience, he has advanced training in white collar crime, fraud detection and law enforcement techniques. He has been regularly featured on national and regional television and radio programs.

Mr. Gibb stays on the leading edge of industry developments, attending international conferences and seminars. He was recently a part-time instructor of the Law and Security program at the Brampton and Oakville campuses of Sheridan College. He has also taught Law and Security and Investigation courses at Clarke and Loyalist Colleges in Belleville, and continues to offer training seminars throughout the province.
